In that white desert

that play merrily from the snowy valley.

Il Carillon

E' caduta la neve, in una deserta roccaforte.
Le campane  di una chiesa del borgo sono morte,
quando diffondono un suono artificiale e  smorto.
I pannelli luminosi  mi osservano con un  bagliore irreale.
I fanali delle auto non illuminano il tunnel dell'irrealtà. 
I lampioni attendono come spettri solitari,
l'arrivo di freddi passanti in tetri sentieri.
Da questi muri m'isolo volentieri.
